Parliamentary Speaker Thura Shwe
Mann said on Sunday that issues concerning Rakhine State will be
discussed during the upcoming parliamentary session.
He made the remark after the local
Rakhine residents voiced concerns regarding the Bengalis, temporary
identity cards, population control, education, health, and
transportation during their meeting with the speaker in Rakhine State.
"The issues that were submitted today
are not only concerned with the region but also the entire country so I
want to say that these submitted issues will become a master plan for
the country," said Thura Shwe Mann.
"After it has been drafted, we will
draft laws in necessary areas and the respective authorities have to
manage, cooperate, and administer them in accord with the laws," the
speaker added.
He cited the lack of trust and
cooperation as the reasons for the country's slow development, adding
that the money circulating in the country belongs to people so he will
