Bangkok, August 5 (Dawei Watch)
Code of conducts on Ceasefire and withdrawal of Myanmar military from
villages will be the key topics during the third-round peace talk
between Karen National Union (KNU) and the government peacemaking team,
Naw May Oo Mutraw, spokesperson of KNU told Dawei Watch.
The pre meeting for the peace talk today in Myanmar border town,
Myawaddy, set to discuss these issues in Hpa-an, the capital of Karen
state at the end of this month, she continued.
The KNU delegation team led by Naw Zipporah Sein, general secretary
of KNU met with the government peacemaking team led by Railway
minister, Aung Min.Three KNU liaison offices have been opened in Pegu,
Karen States and Tanintharyi region after the second round peace talk in
April.
